Dennison's Orphans
Course Synopsis: When Aaron Dennison's Tremont Watch Co. failed in 1868 he spent several years trying to reorganize before selling the assets to the English Watch Co. of Birmingham. This webinar explores the artifacts that survived this interesting period and those later produced by the English Watch Co.
Instructor's Biography: Tom joined the NAWCC in 1971 and in 1982 began collecting the higher-grade watches produced by Waltham Watch Co. In 2002 he retired from a varied career in Healthcare, computer systems and the petroleum industry. He keeps very busy providing technical administrative support for the NAWCC message board. He finds some time to continue his research and collect interesting pocket watches and marine chronometers. He currently serves as Treasurer for his church and is a Director of the American Clock and Watch Museum in Bristol, Connecticut. In 2002, he was elected 2nd VP of the NAWCC and served as Director until 2012. In 2005, he became a NAWCC Fellow and in 2012, he became a NAWCC Star Fellow.
