Lawson Time Is Modern Time
Lawson time is modern time" will trace the history and development of the Lawson Clock Company from its beginning in Los Angeles through four different owners and three different cities. We will also show the variety of motors used, identification clues as to where and when the clocks were made and the large variety of attractive cases in which they were housed. We will touch on the connections to Disney and the Pasadena Rose Parade, and will also discuss the interactions between Lawson, Pennwood and G. E. Telechron, and company efforts to sell the works for other purposes

About the Presenter:
This program is presented by Neil Kuns. Dr. Neil Kuns is a retired minister of the Christian Church.  He served churches in Indiana and California for fifty-five years before retiring in 2007. He lives with his wife Elaine in Camarillo, CA.  They have two sons, a daughter and four grandchildren.  A member of the NAWCC since 1995, he was secretary of Chapter 75 for two years and is currently serving his second stint as president of Chapter 133, Western Electrics.  He served as program chair of the Greater Los Angeles Regional for many years.  He was also program chair for the 2012 National Convention and chairman of the 2016 Channel Islands Regional.  His article on the ENEM, a Dutch Master Clock was published in the Bulletin in 2013.  For twenty years he has studied and produced programs on the Lawson Clock Company of California.
